In an increasingly digital age, information security is more critical than ever for businesses, individuals and government agencies.
David Greer, Executive Director of the University of Tulsa's Institute for Information Security, will address the threats and importance of online security and software safety at the Jenks Chamber of Commerce's April luncheon.
In his career, Greer has briefed United States senators, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Internal Revenue Service, the National Security Agency and the Department of Defense on information security, critical infrastructure protection, cyber crimes and digital forensics.
Considered one of the leaders in the fields of information security and digital forensics, Greer holds a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University and a master's degree from the University of Tulsa.
The luncheon will be held Wednesday, April 24 at noon at the Holiday Inn Express in Jenks. Cost to attend is $15 for chamber members and $20 for non-members.
